Objective:
This course introduces students to Kotlin, a modern programming language optimized for Android development. Students will gain hands-on experience in building Android applications using Kotlin, exploring the language’s features, Android-specific libraries, and best practices for creating user-friendly mobile apps.

Topics: Overview of Kotlin and its role in Android development, setting up Android Studio, and creating the first app, Kotlin basic syntax, interfaces in Kotlin, XML in Android.

Weeks 1 - 12: Event Handling and User Interaction

Topics: Handling user inputs, button clicks, and gestures, navigation between screens, handling data, local databases.

Topics: Making network calls, REST APIs, and JSON parsing in Kotlin, managing background tasks, optimizing app performance, publishing on Google Play Store.
